What brought you to Powell River?: Family, friends, and the goal of a slower lifestyle

When you're not working, how do you like to spend your time?: I am a voracious reader, but mostly I aim to keep my hands busy. As an AuDHD artist I'm always seeking new ways to be creative.

What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid? : I wanted to sing until I learned I have debilitating stage fright!

What's one thing about you that surprises people?: I own a pair of jeans. IYKYK.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?: Telling people what you need is the best thing you can do for them. No one can help you if they don't know, and most people would love to if you'd let them.

What is a dream you have that you’ve yet to achieve?: One day I would love to have my own brick and mortar shop

What do you love most about your career? : The dreams we have as children sometimes take a different shape than we wanted or expected, but my work is quite solitary, so I sing every day in my workshop while shaping things for others to enjoy. It's truly the best of everything I could have imagined adapted in a way that suits the person I became. I would rather create a lasting experience through the pieces I make, music helps to put me in that space to focus on handcrafting the best work I can with my whole self.
